Bovine Afternoon is a 12.5 x 18.5 inch lithograph located at the Norfolk Veterans' Residential Facility in the E section, right of room #E128. This lithograph is of a herd of cows laying down in grass under trees getting ready for an upcoming storm.
Hoffner was born in Wyoming, Pennsylvania and currently lives in Fayetteville, New York. He achieved his BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland in 1975. He later in 1982 taught himself the art of lithography which he then started to focus on as his main medium.
