This logo-like craft art depicts how I see our world—a big question mark—represented by the colossal question mark symbol. The big dot below suggests a globe symbolizing our world. Our world is full of mysterious things that are hard for me to understand most of the time. As usual, so many unending WHY-WHAT-WHERE-WHEN-WHO-WHICH-HOW questions are playing in my head. Why are so many sufferings in this world? Are we created to suffer? Are we designed to compete and kill each other? What makes us divided? How do we achieve real peace in this world? These relevant questions are among those questions I frequently ask myself.
As I observed, this gender inequality, racial discrimination, political unrest, political war, political ideology, political affiliation, territorial dispute, deadly violence, extreme religious beliefs, and so on caused misunderstanding and suffering and caused our divisiveness and unfairness regardless of race. In my opinion, what others mention to us, and what we see and hear from others and absorb deeply in our thoughts cause confirmation bias, our cultural or tribal upbringing, and extreme patriotism and ideology influence our views in life. I sometimes asked myself these illogical questions: what if we only have one country? What if we have only one similar thought and one faith or religion? What if we only have one race, the same skin color, and only single gender? Will it make a big difference and solve these global problems? Because we only have "one world," and I believe we only have "One God"! But in the end, the senseless question I've got is, what kind of world is this?
