On an artist retreat in the Scottish highlands, we spent the day on this lovely cliffside. After a morning of sketching and photographing the view, I set up my paints after lunch. As soon as I began, the sun emerged from the clouds and sparkled across the water, bringing the entire scene to gorgeous life!
