In the fury of a volcano, the earth cracks and it feels like the sky is falling, yet she rises.
From sand and minerals, this kiln formed glass is made of multiple parts that are kiln-formed in multiple stages. Vitreous paint is added for detail. "She Rises / Impermanent World."
The completed glass artwork is laminated to mirror to capture light. The artwork is then mounted to wood to hang on the wall.
