This artwork speaks of harmony through reflection. Both birds, nearly identical in body orientation and perch, face one another in an abstract moment of still intimacy. Their ivory-white heads and chests unify them, while their wings distinguish their emotional tone: one in vivid red and warm orange, the other in cool teal and stark black.
The branching structure is elegantly upright, bifurcating into two symmetrical forks that cradle the birds. The matte black leaves punctuate the space with geometric clarity. The crisp drop shadows beneath the forms reinforce the layered quilling aesthetic, turning minimalist geometry into sculptural presence.
This piece thrives in its visual balance and chromatic tension. The red bird offers warmth, extroversion, and perhaps an expressive nature. The teal bird brings calm, contemplation, and quiet depth. Yet they are equals - mutually mirrored in form, mutually present in stillness.
A masterful duet of structure and sensitivity.
