The final artwork in the series offers a moment of dynamic balance. The red bird, intense and fluid, sits high with pin-feather tail extensions, radiating energy and maturity. Facing it, the mustard-yellow and white bird brings lightness and clarity - its curved wing sweeping elegantly downward.
They do not rest on two branches, but share a single arched form, evoking unity within separation. The sweeping diagonal composition adds momentum and grace, as if the birds are about to rise or part. The clean division of color across their bodies - red/black vs. yellow/white - creates visual counterpoint and emotional resonance.
The leaves echo the birds’ silhouettes, while the flowing shadows cast beneath their forms reinforce a tactile paper-quilling aesthetic. The simplicity of color palette, combined with the abstraction of tail and wing forms, makes this piece feel like a lyrical conclusion.
Here, geometry meets symbolism: departure, dialogue, and duality expressed in minimal strokes. It is a fitting final note - visually rhythmic and narratively open-ended.
