This is the tallest and most impressive sculpture I have ever created. Made with large blocks of reclaimed redwood sourced from roof rafters of an old building, featuring aged wood with beautiful cracks, imperfections and natural colors. The sculpture was featured in Yountville as part of the Public Art Walk exhibition in 2021/22. After I received the sculpture back from the exhibition, I "refreshed" the piece, applied new linseed oil and steel patina and it looks like on the first day I made it. This sculpture can be displayed outside (areas without snow/frost) but would also make a great statement when placed inside a spacious home.
The sculpture is 73 inches high (6.1 feet) and is mounted on a 18 x 18 inches steel plate. It probably weighs about 120 pounds (my other 5 feet sculptures probably weigh 40 pounts) - therefore, this piece is really in another category compared to the other sculptures.
Please note: Due to its size and weight I can only deliver this sculpture within California. Shipping to other places in the US would be very expensive and difficult.
