The artworks (video, textile prints, sculptures and scent/perfume) are artefacts from a speculative scenario called 'Maria Islands'. It tells a story about a fictional Philippines that uses trash exported by foreign countries to the archipelago as a means to expand national territory by means of plastic islands. Each artwork tells the story of Maria Islands through various senses and dimensions. (Bianca Carague, 2023)
