Painted for an exhibition called 'New Beginnings' this work features highly textured daffodils that were painted impasto using palette knives with a thinly painted background. Daffodils are harbingers of Spring, the time of year associated with new beginnings. The title is taken from the famous Wordsworth poem of the same name.
