These small works are recent explorations in working with encaustics. I have been searching for a non toxic medium to use as a seal for my mixed media collages and encaustics provide the perfect foil for incorporating another layer to the surface. It also expands the possibilities of the work in multiple aspects and I find that both exciting and inspiring!
