- Jacque Adams
Jacque Adams is from Columbus, Ohio. She received a BFA from The Ohio State University where she focused on translucent porcelain, mold making, light sculptures and the addition of organic materials added to clay, she graduated in 2013.
From 2015-2017 she was a resident artist at the Mendocino Art Center, focusing on pottery and atmospheric firings, while teaching the children’s clay class.
In 2016, she attended a month-long residency in Arita, Japan, there she worked in a porcelain production factory making porcelain treasure boxes.
She received her MFA from the University of Florida, researching kiln building, agricultural production, slow-food movements, sustainability and foraged seeds and wild clay, graduating in 2020.
Currently, she is a resident artist at Cobb Mountain Art an Ecology Project, focusing on locally foraged materials, wood firing and pottery that facilitates the slow-food movement.
