Wood-fired (woodfired) teapot by Ron Meyers. Made during his initial years of woodfiring, 2000-2005. Meyers was encouraged by his longtime friend Chuck Hindes to go into wood firing as a part of his repertoire, and all of his woodfire pieces date to 2000 or later.

Thrown and altered piece with significant carving and alteration.
