I started pursuing a career in art in 2015. My exposure to art as a child was minimal. When I reached my 20’s, art quickly became my friend that I’ve always needed. Self expression brought passion and purpose into my life. This path continues to bring me to a place of discovery, reflection, and inspiration.

I consider myself a painter first. Whether I’m using paint or clay or any other medium, I intend to tell stories somehow involving human beings. Figurative work has brought out within me a deep appreciation for how complex and interesting humanity is. Paintings, Murals, Ceramic sculpture, pottery…these are all expressions that fulfill me.

I’ve taken some time away from painting on canvas from 2017-2020. During this period I spent time developing sculptural work out of clay. I never stopped painting, considering that I painted on every sculpture I made. But now I am currently back painting full time on 2D surfaces again, and it’s been really wonderful. My next vision for myself is to carve out my path as a mural painter, among continuing commissions and other private works.
