Based in Burlington Vermont, Stanley Ballard was a very well regarded and prolific studio pottery artist until 1960. He trained at Alfred University, considered the best ceramics department in America. His work is daringly simple at a time when decoration was the prevailing style. He uses just a few pale glaze colors, often with a darker “chocolate” edge. These pieces may be sold separately– price is per item. Original paper labels still intact.
