Found in the Summit Antique Center in Summit, NJ. I spoke with the artist (John Thies), and he confirmed that this was an older piece of his, made in his Monocacy Pottery studio in Maryland. (He has since relocated to Ohio - first to the Manabigama Pottery Center in Bowling Green, Ohio in 2010, and then to Oak Openings Pottery outside Swanton, Ohio; it held its grand opening on December 16-17, 2017.
