Small cat and bird teapot. It was constructed and fired in the artist's summer studio in the Buffalo, NY, area, and for some reason, the artist never made a handle for it. It is possible that the spot above the cat's eye, though glazed over, was justification enough not to sell the piece originally, and thus no handle was required.
