URBAN NATURE, is an exhibition of 100 drawings and paintings by Brooklyn artist Michelle Hinebrook. Developed over a ten-year study of natural patterns, seasonal cycles, color, texture, and line formations observed in NYC parks and gardens. This installation tells a story about urban nature from a local artist’s perspective, informed by ideas about our relationship with nature and our need to connect with nature while living in the city.
