'Skin' is an artwork depicting a section of charred tree trunk using cotton
and silk embroidery on unbleached muslin. The work is framed in a
natural maple strip frame and is 16x20x2 inches, with an approximately
8x10 area of embroidery, and longer threads that hang below the
bottom edge of the frame
