Built over many layers, the surface holds traces of what came before. Nothing is forced or resolved too quickly. Instead, the painting invites you to slow down, look closely and bring your own experience to the work.

Like much of my practice, this piece is less about arriving at an answer than allowing space for reflection. Each layer records a decision, a change in direction or a moment of trust, creating a surface that feels lived in. The meaning isn’t fixed. It shifts with the viewer, becoming personal through memory, feeling and time.
