MessageThe dementors have been swarming me all day, so I flee to Glenade. The crescendo of urgency has built to this climax; a sprint along the short pier, to plunge headlong into her bog stained lake. Cradled all about, by stoic cliffs and mountains.
The amniotic fluid encloses me.
Abruptly muting all noise along with the relentless voices. Washing away the sweat and dust of another day at my personal war.
Through the turf tea, the sun sends down golden leaves, to dance upon my pale limbs, as I hold my breath for as long as I am able.
"Be at peace child" say the unfathomably ancient currents.
"For this life is fleeting; the river is waiting to carry you back to the sea. Where you will evaporate at last, into the sky, only to fall again as rain on the mountain, and so to begin once more."
And at length, as if by John the Baptist himself, I am raised back up, to take my first breath, reborn.
