Weather data is reimagined into various flowing shapes that are then scaled, rotated and arranged to create pleasant cloud-like formations, which are then translated using a variety of both digital and analogue creation techniques to create these mini wall sculptures.
This piece is created using weather data from the wildfires in Donnie Creek, British Columbia, Canada, in May 2023.
A variety of reflective and shimmery materials cause the colours in these pieces to shift depending on the angle of view, hang height and the lighting in a space. It is recommended that these pieces be viewed in person to experience the shift in colour as you walk around them.
This is a mirror-like piece that reflects bright green with a light pink rim when viewed straight-on. Viewed from a 45-degree angle, you will see more blue-green. Mirror pieces are the most difficult to photograph - in-person viewing is recommended.
