Weather data is reimagined into various flowing shapes that are then scaled, rotated and arranged to create pleasant cloud-like formations, which are then translated using a variety of both digital and analogue creation techniques to create these mini wall sculptures.
This piece is created using weather data from the wildfires in Los Angeles, California, USA, in January 2025.
A variety of reflective and shimmery materials cause the colours in these pieces to shift depending on the angle of view, hang height and the lighting in a space. It is recommended that these pieces be viewed in person to experience the shift in colour as you walk around them.
This piece shows as soft purple and coral-orange when viewed straight-on. From a 45-degree angle, yellow and a touch of green will appear, making the piece appear more orange from the side.
