Weather data is reimagined into various flowing shapes that are then scaled, rotated and arranged to create pleasant cloud-like formations, which are then translated using a variety of both digital and analogue creation techniques to create these mini wall sculptures.
This piece is created using weather data from the Siberian Taiga Fires in Russia, June, 2023..
A variety of reflective and shimmery materials cause the colours in these pieces to shift depending on the angle of view, hang height and the lighting in a space. It is recommended that these pieces be viewed in person to experience the shift in colour as you walk around them.
-----
This piece appears bright blue and pink/orange from the front. When viewed from the side some yellows and green appear.
