Soft, Irish Sky

Smaller scale, minimal abstraction by artist Michael Rich. Irish Sky is in fact, inspired by the sky and landscape of Ireland, experienced on a recent trip to the West Coast of the country. Foggy, hazy days with the ocean always at hand and deep green fields characterize the Irish landscape. Working from memory and impressions, Soft Irish Sky emerged through layers of transparent glazes of white and green oil paint.
