Judith Azur, 1973, Silkscreen on Paper, Entitiled, "Wei Chi", 28"x 28", unframed.
Large, vintage, Op-Art, abstract patterned, silkscreen in style of Peters, Vasarely. Artist's proof. Signed Azur and dated '73. Great vivd colors. Some of the edges show wear. There is a small crease less than 1" on the top of the piece. Super cool seventies piece.

Judith Azur (1944-1997)
Born in Connecticut, Ms. Azur was educated at the University of Hartford Art School and the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, where she earned a master's degree in fine arts.
In 1970, she moved to San Francisco after studying in Europe. She became associate director of the Vorpal Gallery and taught at the Western Design Institute. Her paintings, collages and prints are in many public and private collections, including the Arco Corp. in Los Angeles, Warner Bros. Film Studios in Hollywood, BART headquarters in Oakland, the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, the Oakland Museum and the Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford.
