Lovely, still life of yellow and pink roses in black a vase, oil on canvas. Signed Clifford Holmes (1876-1963), lower right in paint. Entitled, "Summertime" in paint on verso, also labeled on back is his address in Hayward, CA. Framed in a hand painted period frame. Painted c. 1950's. This piece was acquired from a collection of his works in Alameda, CA. Mr Holmes was a teacher at California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, CA.
Very Good Condition - Minor wear consistent with age and history. Frame has wear at corners.
