Arlene Risi Streich
I can't remember a time in my life when I didn't want to draw or paint. I earned a B.F.A. (painting) and a B.F.ED from the California College of Arts and Crafts (now CCA) in the 1960s, and had the good fortune to study under the incredible faculty of that period. I have lived and spent much time in Mexico, and worked for many years in the travel industry, all of which feeds my visual narratives. I also work with fused glass, making jewelry that incorporates my love of color and free-form shapes.
