Jerome Kaplan established a long career as an artist in Philadelphia where he was department Chairman and Professor of Printmaking at the University of the Arts and
an active member of The Print Club. Kaplan received a Guggenheim Fellowship in 1961 and a commission for A Portfolio of White House Etchings for President Jimmy
Carter. He is represented in the collections of many
museums in the United States and abroad, including the Museum of Modern Art, The Philadelphia Museum of Art,
and the British Museum.
