Currently Professor of Art, Elizabethtown College, Friedly began his art studies at Cody High School, Cody, Wyoming where, he fondly remembers, he was a member of the
Jackson Pollock Art Cult. He received his MFA from The University of Wyoming, Laramie, WY and BFA from
Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ, Magna Cum Laude.
He has exhibited widely throughout the United States
and is represented by the George Krevsky Gallery, San Francisco, California. Most recently he was awarded the
2012 Maya Schock Award for Sculpture in Harrisburg.
