This old house was designed to look like a small castle - and I found it while walking toward the ocean in Porto. The house is actually grey in color but I took the liberty of adding some color and using these two odd shaped boards to give it a new look. Whatever color you give this house it really is beautiful. The shape of the windows and doors gives it a very lofty feel - and then with the beautiful Iron and detail work .... I would definitely call it a castle.
Both pieces of wood came from the Maldives and despite having odd shapes they fit quite well together and really add to the feel of this piece.
