Chania, Crete, Greece

This beautiful pink house is located in Old Town Chania - and is surrounded by other colorful buildings - all worthy of a piece of driftwood. Like most architecture in Chaina this home is well taken care of and had a fairly recent coat of paint. Painting your house pink is a bold move in any country - but it fits and looks great here.

The wood was found in the Malacca Strait, SE Asia - and has the trademark fragrant spicy smell of Asian hardwood. It's a nice solid piece of wood with medium weight.
