Burano is an island in the Venice area that can only be reached by ferry. It’s an old fishing village that has been renovated with amazing colors and now is a tourist hot spot. Since I love bright and bold colors I can spend days here admiring the scenery. Funny then, that I selected an unrenovated house that looked almost abandon except for the laundry hanging from the upper window. The driftwood board had very similar colors and peeling paint as the real house - so I put the two together for a nice effect. Look for more Burano houses from me in the future.
