This work on paper is part of a series titled "The Four Seasons". It depicts the same five aspen trees as they change with the seasons. It is a work on paper that is then varnished and mounted on a cradled wood panel. This piece includes the artists signature topographical line work in the tree trunk and around the leaves. The dark green of the pine trees in the background allow the golden autumn leaves to stand out in a very dramatic way.
