This piece came to the Mendocino Art Center through a generous donation by the Dorr Bothwell Estate. This print has not previously been owned privately. The style of this print reflects the traditional Balinese batik techniques used in their textiles. An image of this print has been published in the book, "Dorr Bothwell, Straws in the Wind, An Artist's Life as told to Bruce Levene", on page 115.
