This is a "vintage reproduction" of "Peace is Children's Best Friend". While we are not certain of the process used to replicate this print, we are referring to this class of work as being a "Vintage Reproduction". This is not an original handmade print, but a copy of the original print and was produced for the artist Emmy Lou Packard herself. This print has not previously been privately owned and is in excellent condition. This piece came to the MAC through a generous donation by Don Cairns and the Packard Family Estate.
This print was used as a poster for the Peace and Freedom Party in 1980.
