Carry What Carries You is a suspended soft sculpture exploring resilience, inheritance, and labor. A weathered pallet—evoking systems of commerce and displacement—supports a bundled form of burlap, rope, and ship netting, suggesting both protection and burden, like cargo or memory. The work asks: What do we carry, and what carries us in return? Through its tension of suspension and containment, the piece reflects on the unseen labor of survival and the structures that hold our stories.
