This large-scale sugarlift aquatint etching is made in the image of a fjord in Svalbard, Norway full of brash ice (the final stage of melting icebergs). The fields of aquamarine color are overbeaten abaca paper pours made by paper/ceramic artist Anela Ming-Yue Oh that are bonded with the etching paper without using glue.
