As an architect, I have been consistently inspired by the work of Frank Lloyd Wright. One of his ideas was to reflect the horizontality of the landscape into his Prairie style houses. Typically the horizontal roof had a counterpoint of a strong vertical of a fireplace or some other mass of the house.
Those same ideas inspired this artwork which I rendered in primary colors. The elements of the work are wood and are screwed together to create the finished work.
