This work is inspired by the waters of the Mediterranean Sea along La Côte d'Azur in the south of France. The subtle and varied blue colors envelop the viewer in the cool water. Using very thin paint on unprimed canvas, the work feels fluid and flowing like the sea. the unprimed canvas is attached to a cradled wood board that is unfinished and left in its natural state.
