Much of my art has been inspired by architecture-windows, doors, openings or buildings. I abstract architectural elements using structure, colors, textures and layering to explore a “view”.
In my recent work, I have continued to refine, simplify and create works that are ordered or structured compositions of clear color and subtle textures, orthogonal forms stripped of their essence.
My love for structure, form and color comes from working as an architect for over 30 years.
