Funny Face Series created as an addition to the Mercado Collection, available for purchase. Artist, Zarco Guerrero created these masks to add more variety at festivals. After realizing the large number of aggressive-faced masks he produced, he decided it was time to lighten the air with two new series of masks; the 2024 Sonrisa & Funny Face Series. By creating the new mask series, the artist payed tribute to traditional themes used in Mexican art and provided a special element of humor and cheerfulness displayed for festivals and the mercado.

Tan skin tone base with pink splotches on the nose, chin, cheeks, and ears. Large ears sticking outwards. Thick, brown eyebrows with white line stripes facing diagonally and horizontally. Crease on the nose bridge and two between the eyebrows. Large, open mouth smile. Top row of teeth displayed. Eight teeth. Pink lips. Top lip is plain with no creases. Bottom lip has brown and white crease lines.
