Calaca #45. Full face mask used in performances by Arizona theater and dance companies. It has light purple burgundy and dark blue ribbons attached to the sides. The forehead has a thick light green V-shaped design at the center with two blue dots underneath and an orange triangle at the top. The eyes have a light blue outline with pale purple on the outside. The nose is a pale purple, the teeth are outlined in pale purple and pink, the cheeks have thick green half circles with orange dots above them, and the chin has a wide green circle with a smaller orange circle at the center.
It is made of plaster bandage and paper clay, painted with acrylic paints and ribbon, which ties the mask to the performer.
These masks are part of the Performance Collection, which contains pieces available for loan to use in community and artistic performances.
