When I painted this hummingbird as a part of a mural in our town (an homage to the previous muralist whose work I painted over), I decided I wanted to do another one on canvas to sell and this is the result. I love working on multiple canvases, but I realized that it would be difficult for a purchaser to duplicate the way the work should fit together once the purchased it, hence my decision to mount it for easy installation on a wire screen base.

Based in McKees Rocks, PA, I am a multidisciplinary artist dedicated to "painting the world" one surface at a time. My work spans from intimate pet portraiture and life-size wire-screen sculpture to expansive murals and fero-cement installations. To me, every blank wall and weathered fence is a canvas waiting to be reclaimed.

Since 2006, I have honed my craft as a theatrical set painter, contributing to over 25 Pittsburgh-area productions. This background in large-scale storytelling fuels my current mission: partnering with local organizations like the McKees Rocks CDC to revitalize our neighborhood. By blending architectural appreciation with natural beauty, I strive to lift up our community and help local businesses thrive through the power of public art.
