A peacock wanders around in a hall of a Renaissance palace with arched ceilings.
At the walls of this hall are paintings: on the left wall is Alexander the Great; on the right wall are my own paintings: on the left “Palazzo Ducale” (1996) with the woman figure derived from Tintoretto, and on the right "Sacre Conversazione"(1996), with Bodar, Erasmus & Petrarca in Urbino. The interior of the palace is based on Frederico da Montefeltro's palace in Urbino. Here was the court described in Baldassare Castiglione's book of courtiers: "Il Libro dell Cortegiano" (1528). I have several paintings on the courtiers; for this painting an empty hall with just paintings and a peacock came to my mind.
