Awarded an Artist-in-Residency as one of the artists creating artwork for the White Elephant Resorts Nantucket renovation project. 10 cottages on the Resort were renovated and given individual themes inspired by native plants of Nantucket. As part of the Artist-in-Residency Mary has been commissioned to create 9 watercolor paintings depicting those flowers and shrubs in their natural settings. This specially curated and commissioned collection is an Elkus Manfredi initiative with White Elephant Resorts and art consultant and curator, Emily Santangelo, who also collaborated with Elkus Manfredi on White Elephant Palm Beach.
