A private commission for a client as a very generous wedding gift for a friend. The Greek Revival Home was built in 1846 by self-taught Nantucket architect, Frederick Brown Coleman for William and Eunice Hadwen. The beautiful light and shadow falling across this elegant and grand piece of architecture evoked all of the elements that I had love about painting on Nantucket.
