My paintings focus on historic architecture in the landscape. I find inspiration in the atmospheric scenes of the rich vistas prevalent to Coastal New England.
Message
It was stepping back in time. Little Cranberry Island, aka Islesford is off the coast of Southwest Harbor has a very small population of year-round residents. The shadows on this small station, tethered to civilization by one small wire, and the texture of the grasses somehow felt nostalgic. The mountains in the distance are Southwest Harbor and Acadia.
