This painting depicts part of the self serve flower stand at Terra Farms in Spring Grove, Pennsylvania. The owners of this family farm, Loni and Andy Snyder invest long hours and careful watchfulness in growing the most amazing flowers. Dahlias of every hue and size are one of their specialties. I painted this plein air piece on location when their sunflower fields were blooming.
