I went a bit more vibrant with color in this marsh landscape, alternating the warm rust and maroon grasses with cool greens , but I had to put a pop of color into the horizon—so way into the painting is a wonderful stripe of hot pink. Does it make you wonder what is growing back there? Maybe some wild azaleas!
