Medium: Acrylic on Arches watercolor paper
There are places where memory and nature intertwine, where flowers don’t just decorate but transform the space around you. Cave Garden was born from one of those moments. I was in Cartagena, Colombia, at a wedding filled with music, warmth, and joy. After the ceremony, we stepped into a cave draped in flowers. The air was heavy with their fragrance — lush, sweet, intoxicating.
This abstract floral painting captures that sensory memory: a hidden garden carved into stone, alive with color, petals, and shadow. Layers of pinks, purples, and greens suggest blossoms glowing in dim light, like a rainforest secret waiting to be discovered.
Cave Garden is a one-of-a-kind statement piece for art collectors and interior designers. Its vibrant, textured surface makes it ideal as floral wall art for living rooms, dining rooms, or any space that calls for color and presence.
For me, Cave Garden is a reminder of how beauty can be both hidden and overwhelming, like stumbling into a sanctuary you never knew existed.
